A tree removing, branch trimming, wood hauling, safety first, this is serious business, business located in the Cedar Valley of Iowa.

Both of the founders’ last names begin with the letter K, giving us the “K2” in the name. The goal was to visually communicate professionalism, safety, and most importantly, trees. To do this, I combined a sturdy tree with a strong shield that pays homage to the Forest Service badge while still creating a new identity system. The geometric angles and curves of the Gotham font reinforce our K2 lumberjacks as they enter the woods.
